Boil some water in a large pan on the stove. Carefully pour it in the sink. Let it sit. It should start to break through som of the clog if it is grease. We just had a plumber here last Wednesday in the kids bathroom. My gd hair is the problem in there. He said go to a plumbing supply store and buy a container of "Thrift" it is a granule. You cannot use it in sinks or toilets. You cannot use it on completely clogged drains. It works great on slow drains. We used it Saturday in our bathroom. WOW. You run hot water down the drain for several minutes. Then you put the amount of Thrift in, flushing later with more water. It is safe for copper, clay, PVC pipes. It is an acid so take great care. Follow the label.
