my son has pinkisg dots on the body

first hee had fever for 3 days and diarreah,then diarrea stoped and no more fever but on his body started appear pinkish small dots(especially on the butt and back).i dont know what it is.he is so fussy all the time,i just dont recognize him.may be stomach virus,allergy.anybody help to find out

  • its probably eczema... use either a&d OR lanolash on it and see if it helps

  • oh one more thing if it itches him too calll your pedi and ask if they are ok with you giving OTC Clairitin to stop the itch

  • my son gets this when he gets a fever or a cold... my doc always says its not very common, but if they go away within a few hours or fade throughout the day then its just hives that come with having a little fever or cold.. if they dont go away, then u should worry.

  • Kinda sounds like Rosiolia (not sure of the spelling) but my daughter had the same thing. Kids under the age of 2 get it, it isnt contagious. But it starts with a high fever and then 2-3 days later it turns into a rash, and it gets worse before it gets better, it looks very much like chicken pox or the meas and mumps. But i would call the dr to get checked out just to be sure. Hope he feels better!
