Why is my cervix closer than it used to be?

I used to wear Insteads for feminine protection products. Nowadays, I cannot get them to fit in. It seems like I can barely fit in a tampon. I can actually reach in and feel my cervix. So, what is this all about? Does anyone have any ideas? I went to my checkup and apparently there was nothing abnormal looking to the Dr. but I just can't figure out why it would have moved closer.....

  • I know a cervix's position changes through the month. It lowers and softens during your fertile period.

Why yours has dropped so much you can't get a tampon in when you used to be able to, I don't have an answer to. You're sure it's not your uterus pushing on it? (Beginning of prolapse)
