Do you know what Halloween is really about?

Most people I know think its just about getting dressed up and getting candy OR they think it's an evil holiday.

It has NOTHING to do with the devil- it comes from people who didn't even believe in God or Satan. It was about scaring away the bad spirits, and bringing in the new year.

  • Yeah, the Celts started it. It was a bit different in Ireland, but it changed when they immigrated to the states after the potato famine. They brought it with them.

  • Dont really care what the original meaning of it is. It IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT TO BE. We make it a cute dress up time for the kids. No ugly costumes....and that is what it is for our family.....Dont care what other people believe ;)
