Trick or Treating on Friday or Saturday where you live?

I thought it would be Saturday here. It seems like the perfect day. But, apparently people are handing out candy tomorrow. And then we have a party to go to Saturday that's supposed to start after trick or treating. Guess we'll be dressing up twice this year. I can't trick or treating usually on a Friday or what?

  • That sounds really strange to me! You should trick-or-treat on Halloween, not the day before.

  • Ours is Saturday, however, many communities in our area had it tonight. idk why. I figured it was great that Halloween fell on a Sat. Guess not everyone feels the same!!

  • Yeah, we always trick-or-treat on Halloween the 31st of October. There's other events on some days leading up to Halloween but we always trick-or -treat on Halloween.

  • Ours is Saturday. For once it is actually on Halloween. It is usually on the Sunday before Halloween. The citizens complained and the mayor and councilmembers had to vote to change the day of Trick or Treating, what a waste of tax payers money. IT should always be on Halloween.

  • Here because Halloween is on the weekend some work places and studdents do some gifts and candies exchange. In some places the festivities start today but the ''trick or treat'' for all the childrens is on Saturday.

  • Both. Friday and Saturday here. We have a cluster of little towns all in a bunch here, so they make the TOT times different for each this way we all get to go when we want. So we have TOT at 4 & 6 on Friday and 4 & 6 on Satruday. And our Parade was Wensday.
