  • wow, okay, so there was NOTHING WRONG DONE HERE!! he counseled a young gay man, who was of legal consent age, in a private matter. There was nothing to report, because again, the young man was OF CONSENT AGE. people are just looking for things, and coming up with obscure situations, like this one. This is only making me realize even more how stupid republicans can be!

  • Who did something right?
This kid said that he had sex with a guy . It doesn't matter what he says now. Mr Jennings told the story as he said it happened and he told what his reaction was. The fact that the kid now says he was of age to do what he wanted is crazy. Whether or not he was, any man having sex with a child of 16 should be put in jail. No one was right in this situation. I guess it all goes to what your morals are whether or not you think you should report something like that.

  • They need to leave Jennings alone. He did do something right. He listened to a scared confused teen back then and thats all he really needed. And he works to make the lives of todays kids better too, so why the prob? They kid was of legal consenting age, so it need not have been reported. But noooo, they just look for the next person that they can hang out to dry, from the Obama Admin. and that Just happens to be gay. Sheesh!

  • itsmesteph11, the kid in question is coming in his defense telling everyone that what they talked about is not anyones business and without going into details said that his counseling helped him be the proud man he is today. Jennings himself admitted to maybe handling it better, it doesn't make him a pervert, it makes him human. He was 16 at the time of the incident, the legal age of consent for the state, he did nothing illegal.

  • itsmesteph11 I totally agree with you. Morals plays a big role here. Obviously this Jennings dude has none. Not then and now. How do you condone sex with a teenager and a adult is beyond me. Jennings only concern was wearing a condom, and not the actual child molestation. Whether or not teachers had training he knew right from wrong. You dont need special training to know this.
