How do you get hospital tape off your arms?

Ok, I just had my baby girl and have those tape lines all over my arm from the IV's. How do you get them off? I have scrubbed them with a rag and soap and water. Anyone have any good ideas?

  • Oh boy! I scrubbed the skin right off of my arm that way, hehe. If you look really really close, you can see the patch of skin I rubbed off right below my right wrist. It's just a light mark now, but wow, that hurt so bad on top of recovering from delivery. I think any of the above suggestions will work. Just be sure to be gentle, don't wanna end up with a huge sore like I did ;D

  • Thanks for the answers! I used alcohol and it worked pretty good. Had to rub it a little. Next time I'll try the baby oil.
