Can I give her soy formula?

My sister didn't leave enough formula for today. My neighbor has a can of soy Good Start. Could I give that to the baby for just 1 bottle until my sister gets here? She usually uses the regular similac.

  • Ask your sister. Baby might have a known problem with soy.

  • She doesn't have a known problem. I would know, I make sure I know everything about these kids since I have them most of the time.

  • Then why did you ask? If you know she's ok with soy, then she can have it. The only problem you may have is if she doesn't like the taste...

  • I didn't know if it would mess her up at all from switching formula.

  • It would be best to mix some of the soy with the rest of your regular formula so that she isn't shocked by the change in formulas. Is there enough regular formula to make a small amount with?
