Can I give her soy formula?

My sister didn't leave enough formula for today. My neighbor has a can of soy Good Start. Could I give that to the baby for just 1 bottle until my sister gets here? She usually uses the regular similac.

  • how old is the baby? You could give the soy, but it might not settle very well. Then again other options such as regular milk or water may do the same thing. To be safe I would stick with milk since it is the closest to what the baby uses regularly, but I am no expert.
By the way, I don't think soy is a terrible product, it did wonders for my baby.

  • I really like soy. I chose soy formula for my son from day 1 because I think it is healthier

  • I am not an expert either, but If there is no way of you getting similac, and the baby needs to eat,
    soy would be my choice.

  • The baby has to eat...lol I think giving them that one time would be ok. I'm sure some people have done worse. That or reduced fat milk, well hold on how old is this little one??
