Is it appropriate for your child to wear a costume to your church's Fall Festival?

We're very involved with our church and this is the first time we've ever thought about attending the fall festival on Halloween night. My daughter's costume is a monarch butterfly and she's not quite 3, is it wrong to bring her in a costume or should I just change her before we go?

  • It's halloween of course you dress up. Most churches do these things as outreach to the community so they expect the kids to be in costume. The only thing they ask is no extreemly scarry costumes. We are all going as cowgirls, well hubby is a

  • My kids wear their coustumes to church there is usally a Mass for the kids before they go trick or treating: so I would say let her do it.
