  • We do the church thing, but if my church didn't have one then I would take them out. I just don't see why it is such an issue for other Christians. Like I said on another post-just because many Christian holidays are celebrated on pagan dates doesn't mean I have to celebrate the pagan parts. I would no more expect a pagan to celebrate the Christian parts.  You celebrate the part of the holiday that is meaningful to you.

  • Yes ever since the first year they were born. It's fun and I don't see the harm in it.

  • i would, if i weren't getting over the flu..or if he cared to. he's 4 1/2 and although he likes going to 'visit' people, he could care less about the candy or the costumes.

  • We go to an alternative festival at our church. They have games, candy, bouncers, food, music, etc. I want my girl to know that following God is fun, it is not about being miserable sitting at home while everyone else goes out to have fun.

    You know?

  • Yes. We also do the "trunk or treats". Nothing wrong with it, just kids playing dress up.
