Can babies eat mashed potatoes?

Without the butter and seasoning of course...

  • my mother in law is big on organic and not feeding babies out of jars with all those additives and she keeps telln me to make mashed potatoes for my 6 month old and put it thru a strainer for her. i havn't tried it but she obviously has lol i'm married to one of her kids so obviously it didn't kill him.

  • Mine had them, regular mashed potatoes, made with milk, around 8 or 9 months.

  • After 6 months babies can eat mashed potatoes with butter and seasonings. I wouldn't use milk.
