Does your child....

Take a daily vitamin? My son gets a flintstone's sour gummy every morning... Just curious as to how many kids get a vitamin... And the reasoning as to why or why not. Don't want to start a debate...

  • Ours take their gummy scooby vitamin every evening. It makes me feel better because there are days they don't eat the best, and to keep their immune system strong.

  • I try to remember to give my son a vitamin every morning but we have a bad tendency to forget them while rushing out the door. I've started doing them at night before he goes to bed. But after some advice from my dentist I got rid of the gummy vitamins. She informed me that gummy treats like fruit snacks etc are horrible for kids teeth as they tend to stick and are harder to remove and if not brushed hard enough to remove them all can cause the tooth to decay faster causing cavaties.

  • My oldest is 14, she gets a regular adult vitamine. The twins can't swallow pills so they get a gummy.

  • We were doing the gummys but he thinks they are candy and throws a fit when he can only have 2 so we stopped rather than fighting it (I pick my battles)

  • Mine do, but they don't get a gummy, or a flinstone, or any of that crap - they get a high quality multi-vitamin multi-mineral whole foods supplement that does not contain any known allergens, and is sweetened with Xylitol which helps fight cavities.

  • Mine get a multi vitamin and also at this time of year vit d and vit c. Because of where we live even if you are outside all day there is not enough sun this time of year to get the adequate vit d so we all supplement. Mine are 2 and 4 years old and have been getting them since they were 1 year old. We also do not do gummies due to the stickiness and instead use a high quality hard chewable of them all.

  • Mine normally take walamrts least expensive (non sour) gummy (2 a day) but we ran out last week and I haven't bought more. I like them to, because I feel it fills in the gaps of their health.

  • My son gets a Flintstone chewable on most days. He thinks they are awesome and would love it if I gave him two. LOL
