I am planning on homeschooling all three of my children starting in January....THey all have IEP (all are on the autism spectrum) How do I go about making sure they still recieve these services???

  • get in touch with your states home-school division, and the local public schools. even though your children arent in the public school, they still have resources available to you.

  • I'm not sure if this is true in all states, but when I lived in Indiana I spoke to a lawyer who specializes in law regarding those with special needs who had assured me that according to state law my son was entitled to services through the local public school even if I homeschooled.
