Electricity bill questions...

Can someone explain to me this charges because I'm getting a headache trying to figure out what they the charges are for.

On top of the power that we use, we are getting charge for Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment and Customer Charge.

Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment is what? Is that a charge to generate electricity?

And what would be customer charge?

  • Maybe you could call the company and ask them to explain your bill.

  • OP here...

Thanks Anon for the info...I don't have that electric company but it did explained the WPC. I just looked at the sample bill and wow....the WPC is that high for that company! Seems like trying to save energy doesn't lower the cost all that much due to WPC.
