Yes, they help with cooking, cleaning up, putting groceries away.. I want them to know how to do everything so they will enjoy cooking as much as I do! -

Absolutely. My youngest son loves to cook and cut up veggies ( using a butter knife). Both of my boys help with every meal preparation in our house. My oldest son has signature dishes ( 10y.o) and people actually request them :) -

My 5 year old love to help. The minute she notices that I'm preparing to cook, she runs to get her little step so that she can pitch in.
I usually let her help with the prep work and serving the food once it's ready :) -

My 2 and 4 year old love to help in the kitchen. My 2 year old helped me make egg noodles last night and headed back to the kitchen this afternoon to make some pumpkin cookies! YUM! -

My son is 3 and I measure and he pours. He also takes the dishes back into the kitchen when we eat in the living room.
