  • 6 months ago this was our routine with our son.
5am wake up ( his choice NOT Mine )
eat breakfast - eggs, oatmeal, cereal, pancakes - doing flashcards for fun
get diaper changed and get dressed,
nice weather, outsidfe to the park or on a walk - cold or rain - play inside with his cars or make forts or chase each other etc.
    snack about 8. more playing,
Noon nap time - usually only 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours
go outside again if weathers nice or we find something else to do
    snack about 3:30 -
    dinner at 5/6
    bath @ 7
    bedtime 8

  • Up at 7.
    Breakfast around 8-ish.
Sesame Street at nine, followed by a walk when he loses interest in Sesame St.
Snack, books, rough house, independent play until around 11:30.
Nap time from 11:30 (ish, sometimes earlier, sometimes later, depends on his mood/behavior) until he wakes up, usually around 1:30.
    Lunch after nap.
Guided play for twenty minutes or so, using colors, shapes, letter, numbers. Then free play for the rest of the afternoon.
    Dinner about 5 pm.
    Bath about 6:30
    In bed by 7 pm.

    11 Naptime until 1 or 2
    Lunch after Nap

  • this is our routine for days around the house (if we don't have to go anywhere)
    he wakes up at 6:30
    diaper change and some juice
    10:00-get dressed
12:00-diaper change, book and songs before naptime
    2:30-wake up
    juice, diaper change, light snack
    4:00-i start cooking dinner
    5:00-eating dinner
    6:45-bedtime (read books, sing songs)

if we want to go for a walk or go somewhere for fun usually we go either after we get dressed in the morning or after naptime. we usually stick to this schedule, but it's a little more challenging bc now i have a 1 month old baby so sometimes she throws things off a little (but i try to not let it get too late). this is for my 20month old and my 4 year old too (but he goes to bed at 7:30 or 8)
