  • It really depends on what kind of event it is. Is it a formal invitation cocktail party, or is it a phone or email invite casual/business event? For something formal, I would not recommend wearing boots but a dressy sandal or pump, but for a more casual party boots could work.

  • Booties AKA Shoe Boots. Ones that are fancier than normal. They have a fancy design like ruffles or something. They aren't just plain ol' booties.

  • I wouldn't but that's just me. They look like hooves.

  • Kinda.... flashy and too much like a teen on the road to disaster. Classless. Immature stuff. Sorry.

  • Classless, immature... WOW! Ok, whatever. I wouldn't call a shoe "classless" or "immature". Do you even know what a bootie is? Do you even know fashion? I wish you weren't anonymous so I could see what your sense of style is and take that into consideration while reading your reply.

Anyway, its a red carpet, urban event. The focus is on unique style. That is the only reason I would condsider wearing them. I normally wouldn't do it either (as another responder stated), but I was just wondering. I'm a pump, stilleto, dressy sandal type girl for those sort of events.
