How old were your kids before they could say opposed to mama?

I want to be mommy but so far my 16 mth old only says mama:-)

  • I think my son was about 20 months. but I would talk and say MOMMY all the time- Mommy loves you, Mommy wants to help you, Max and mommy are going to the store

  • haha, I need to do more of that Maxsmom. I keep forgetting to refer to myself as mommy and end up saying "me" and "I" etc

  • My 5 yo calls me mama. He says that when he turns 6 he will then start calling me mommy. He has decided to change what he calls his father and grandparents too. He's too cute! He has no reason for doing this other than he will be 6.

  • My son calls me everything from mamma to mommy to LLLLEEENNNAAAA when hes really wanting my attention and he's across the room with a lot of ppl in it. (Like at chruch or family functions) Hes only 3 but he knows there are a lot of mommies in the world but normally only one Lena.
