How long would you cook a whole fryer chicken in the crockpot for and on what setting?

Anyone have any good crockpot recipes for a whole chicken?

  • Id start it in the morning on low in chicken broth. Just check it occasionally and keep a meat thermometer on hand to check it. A cooked chicked should be no lower then 150degrees. Add some white wine or lemon to it towards the end for extra flavor! GL
