  • When he wakes tell him that it was just a dream and that he can control his dreams he has to tell the scary what ever that it can't stay in his dream it has to go. And remind him he is in control of his dreams not the scary things. It takes a few times, but not only was MY nightmares as a kid solved this way, but my little girls nightmares too.

  • does he have a night light? ask him to tell you what his nightmares are about- maybe he's watching something on tv that is lingering when he goes to bed. it is a phase, it will pass. in the meantime let him be little. so long as he's going to bed in his bed he'll get through it. let him come to you nd sleep with you when he is afraid who will protect him if not his beloved mommy?
