My mom has a very big storage box of dry dog food from a few months ago. She was expecting a dog that never came so it just sits there. I'm bringing a dog home this week and I hate to let all the food go to waste but I want to be sure it's safe. She doesn't remember the brand it was. Can I still use it after a few months?Answer Question

Yes, dry dog food doesn't really "go bad" .. unless it's a few years old even then it isn't going to necessarily be bad just unappealing to the animal.
