is peanut butter good for my kids?

  • As long as they don't have an allergic to it, it's a great way for kids to get their protein. I have heard that you should wait until the child is 2 to give them peanut butter. Not sure if this is still recommended though.

  • Yes if it's all natural no sugar added... just straight peanuts, no added junk.

  • "Nut Butters" are wonderful, provided that they are natural- not full of added oils, salt, preservatives & sugar (ever read the label on a jar of peter pan, jif, skippy?). My kids LOVE almond & cashew butters. Sun or Soy Butter is a great alternative for kids that have nut allergies.
