I have a biscotti recipe for babies, but it calls for unbleached flour and all I have is bleached. Is it okay to use? I also have unbleached wheat flour, but didn't know if the wheat was okay.

  • wheat is an allergy trigger food; don't make this for a baby under age one.

  • Yep, much better/healthier, unbleached and whole wheat! Flour is always wheat flower unless it says otherwise... like rice flour or something. All the regular flours you see in the baking aisle though are wheat.

  • If your baby has had any bread, crackers or pretty much any baked goods then she's already been exposed to wheat.
