Those of you over 40...what's life like on the "other side"? LOL! ;D

  • Since 30 didn't bother me, I don't think 40 will either. I've got two kids under two to keep me busy and a husband who is almost 2 decades older than me who still manages to keep me on my toes. Age is a number and I don't have time to worry about it! :-D

  • I was more freaked out about turning 30....lol.
Once I was used to being in my 30's (I think I was 37), turning 40 wasn't bad at all. In fact, it was an accomplishment because many people who know me were shocked to learn I turned 40 on my birthday because they told me I look at least a decade younger. I love that! LOL....40 is really nice...especially when your children are more independent. The hard part is when they leave the nest.

  • Not really, my s/o is 40 and he still acts like he is 25. Your age is what you make of it.

  • I took turning 30 much worse than 40!! I'm 44 now, and it's okay being in my 40's. I think once I got over turning 30, I realized that it's just a number and nothing to get upset over!!
