  • most multivitamins have the same good stuff in them but for an immunity boost you can add a daily dose of airborne for kids. it has all the stuff for immune support and it really does work well.

  • A (refrigerated) probiotics will boost immunity by 20%. There is mixed evidence that Echinacea (3 weeks on, one week off) boosts immunity. . Not getting enough sleep can lower your resistance to disease. So can being dehydrated, so be sure to drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day. Alcohol, meat, dairy, highly processed foods like white sugar and white flour all weaken the immune system. Foods that build up the immune system include: fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes.

  • Amen to the probiotics. Not the ones that are supposedly in yogurt, cheese, etc, either - the powder-in-a-capsule ones. As for a good multi-vitamin - anything from a grocery store is crap (flinstone, gummies, etc). The ones my kids get are pretty much the best out there. Gotta have the right connections to get them though, as they're from a small company that doesn't sell to every tom, dick, or harry that wants it. (God, that makes me sound like a drug dealer! But I'm not, it's all about the vites).
