  • Poor cat! And poor ferrets- although they don't fare well with flu, they are used as test animals in influenza studies because they are so susceptible to human flu viruses. I guess I will be making sure my kids wash their hands good right before handling the pets just in case!

  • God I hope that doesnt come through my area. I work with dogs and cats and I'm pregnant. I already have enough hazards lol

  • I think I might have to call the vet. I have a special needs kitty and he doesn't need anymore problems :-(

  • Oh, wow. I hope that doesn't transfer to rats. They're not so good at handling flus.
