What do you make your toddler for lunch everyday?

I feel like I'm making her the same stuff every week. Just want some ideas to incorporate a little variety!

  • I try to have a lot of different yummies for Adeus. We make quesadillas, pb&j (of course), sandwiches, pasta, spaghetti O's, applesauce, cucumbers, grapes, bagels with any topping (melted cheese and brocolli or sugar free jam) and he LOVES to skin corndogs! He eats the outside and then I slice up the dog for him. Adeus will eat anything. And I totally agree with the leftovers idea. He is too little to say "but we ate rice lassst nigghhhtt!" lol! Hope this helped :)

  • chicken nuggets seem to be a staple here, also pasta and mixed fruit.

  • yogurt and fruit or grilled cheese with raw vegetables (cucumbers, peppers)

My daughter is 2 and I give her a few choices and she decides.

  • I like the Gerber Graduate meals. I think they give a good variety. If not those, then what I'm eating, maybe a sandwich, yogurt, dried pineapple, rice cakes, etc. :D

  • Ask her what she wants. If you are running out of ideas, then I'm sure that she has some. She knows what she likes.

  • First of all, we never EVER make special meals in this house. Our toddler eats what we eat, and that's part of why he's not picky AT ALL. Because of this, typically he eats leftovers from the dinner the night before. For instance, yesterday he had this really spicy chicken with yellow rice. Today we'll probably eat ham sandwiches with some fruit. Tomorrow we'll have tonight's leftovers which will end up being ribs with potatoes.

(and not sure how old your toddler is, but Jacob is 20 months old)

  • My daughter loves the Gerber Graduates Entree foods. She also isn't picky at all, so she eats whatever I eat.

(Which comes in handy when my boyfriend orders a sausage and mushroom pizza and I don't like mushrooms :) )
