sleep pattern

my dd is just about 9 months old. shes been sleeping through the night since 3 months. shell wake for her binky but fall right back asleep. for the last 4 months or so shes slept in until 830ish....and took 4 1/2 hr naps during the day. now she sleeps until 930 or 10 and takes 4 1hr. to 1 1/2 hr naps a day. im not complaining but why is she sleeping soooo much more? shell be up for 2 hours and want to go back to sleep. she doesnt even fuss when i lay her in her crib anymore...shes just knocked out. is that normal?

  • Yes. At her age, she'll have just hit a growth surt, and that means sleeping time for growing.
