If you didn't have stretch marks with #1 can you assume you won't have them with #2?

Just curious....I was lucky enough not to have any with my first and just wonder that means I won't get them if I have another one.

  • i was blessed with the silver stretch marks with all 5 pregnancies. they consider the silver marks to be invisible, but after birth and weight loss they became purplish. i know 100% coacoa butter works, and now the bio-oil. you have to use them daily!!!

  • LOL! I thought the same thing. When I was pregnant with my twins, I never got one stretch mark. But oh how that changed with my youngest!! And they tricked me, I didn't get any until the last two or three weeks!!!

  • I don't think you can predict, but I just wanted to give you hope, unlike all the previous posts, I did not get stretch marks with my second.

  • nope.

all babies sit different (at least mine did) so stretchout the skin diffferently.

stay hydrated and use a really good moisturizer so that as your belly grows its supple and won't mark as much. its kinda like rolling out dough - if its nice and moist it won't crack - skin is the same.
