Pulling feeling in uterus?

Does anyone else get that? Tonight when I picked up my 3 year old to put her in the bathtub I felt it, like a pulling/overstretching feeling in my uterus. It doesn't hurt but it startles, and it's not only when I pick up heavier things (she's only 30 lbs anyway) but sometimes when I'm lying on the couch and use my abdomen muscles to shift position rather than my body I'll get that same feeling. Normal? I'm 29 weeks, 3rd preg.

  • I'd say it can be normal. Sometimes when I shift I feel a twinge kinda like when you get shocked just without the pain. I also get pains that feel like my uterus is detaching from my abdomen or something when I cough too hard. That sucks.

  • I have had that with all my pregnancies! Normal, imo.

  • That makes sense, your uterus is a muscle, it can be pulled if you're straining.
