What could I replace corn flakes for? For a recipe for hashbrowns?

I don't have any corn flakes? Could I use something else?

  • Potato chips would be great.......if not that, maybe some crushed crackers. I suppose it would depend on what purpose the corn flakes would serve.....a crunchy topping? or a binder?
