Is it awesome that my son could ride an 18" bike without training wheels right after he turned 3?

He started out on a smaller bike w/training wheels, but they broke... so my husband helped him out for 1 day without the training wheels, after that he just hopped on and rode off. Now, he will be 4 on Dec 25th, he rides the 18" bike and pops wheelies and jumps curbs and ramps....

  • You must have one tall 3 year old! My daughter is 42" tall and a 16"Bike is too almost to tall for her. But good balance I guess!

  • That is awesome. My son got his training wheels off a couple of months before his fourth birthday. Which I think was still pretty awesome.
