Is a baby shower raffle tacky?

I'm planning a baby shower with friends for our dear friend. We were all wondering if a raffle would be tacky. Here's how it would work. On the invite it would state bring a package of diapers or wipes or onesies to be entered in the raffle. The winner of the raffle would get a basket of Yankee Candle products and Bath & Body products.
The winner basket is worth $85. We also have 3 small baskets worth $ 25 for runner ups.
We just aren't sure if we should do this or not. If we shouldn't do it, then all the baskets are going to the mother to be.

  • I see nothing tacky. I also appreciate that you have a couple of smaller prizes.

  • I went to a baby shower where there was a raffle, but only one person got a prize and it was a $20 gas card. I don't think it was tacky, it was different and it got a lot of people to buy diapers and wipes.
