my first 14 months, my second her 1st bday party so 12 weeks 2 days. My 3rd 12 months, my fourth 15 months. My 5th 10 months. It just depends when they are ready. Each child is diff. Don't rush you baby to be a big boy. You have far more years of him walking then not. So enjoy him.

1st son, at 18 months
1st daughter 11months
1st set of twins both at 12 months exactly
2nd set of twins, one at 12 months 2 days the other 12 months 4 days
the quads, all at 10 months

My first walked (took his first steps alone) at 12 1/2 months. My second walked at 11 1/2 months. Some kids don't even walk until they are 18 months, I think that's late but I do know a girl who didn't walk until then and I know at least 3 who didn't walk until 16 months. So your son isn't even close to being a late walker yet. I think 12 months is pretty average.

I read that its anywhere from 9- 15 months. All kids do things at their own pace!
