are there test to see if a cat is deaf or not?

is it expensive or worth finding out? after recent events i have reasons to believe my cat is other 2 cats come running when call kitty kitty..or when i have a recording of a cats doesnt phase this cat at all

  • There are tests that can be done that are epensive but the simple test is too make differant noises and see if she responds clap your hands, get a squeaky toy things that might normally get a head turn or ear twitch or something. It is not scientific but it is effective. This is what my vet does instead of sending them for the real tests.

  • my cat is the same way but she's not deaf she's just stubborn i snap my fingers at her when she'd doing something she's not supposed to and she takes off lol
