We've all heard the term a "Good Woman". What does that mean to you? And do you consider yourself one by your own standard?

To me it means a woman that requires the man in her life to be responsible and live honorably, as she does herself. She is morally strong and committed to things like justice and truth. She stands up for what she believes in without being militant and abrasive. She understands the importance of a spiritual presence in her family's life. She works hard to be gracious and kind. And she nutures those around her. She would have an amazing presence to be around. She is loyal, trustworthy, respectful, wise, and strong.

In my own definition I am about 50%, maybe less. I have met quite a few women like this, but sadly not of my generation or younger. They were all in their 80's. I am 35.

A good woman is someone who strives every day to be the best woman she can be(as in being kind and considerate, being honest with herself and others, recognizing and working on her faults,is dependable, etc.).

She gets up and tries to be a good woman the next day and the next, etc.

    If I rated myself...Im about 80% there.
