What can I use to treat my 2 year old's cold sore?

My dd has her second cold sore. I'm just not sure what we can use for it. Our pharmacist recommended that we not use OTC medication since she is so young. Anyone know anything natural that will help?

  • Try giving her lycopene capusules. It's a vitamin. I was told awhile ago that it works and helps prevent them as well.
