How often should I feel my baby move at 18 weeks?

I will be 18 weeks tomorrow. I have read that since my baby is so small that I will not always feel my baby move plus they could be in a spot where I also won't feel any movement. I worry when I don't feel movement and I really need assurance.

  • Everyone is different, my SIL & I are due 2 weeks apart (she is due 4/8, I am due 4/21) and I feel mine but she doesn't feel hers. This is my second, I felt my daughter around 17 weeks. This is my SILs third, she didn't feel her other two until 20-21 weeks. Both my daughter & this one are movers though, always all over the place in ultrasounds and when the Dr is trying to find the heartbeat!
