How long is breast milk good for after you take it out of the fridge?

leaving it at room temp. (not heating it)

  • I think it's only an hour....I know freshly pumped milk is good for 4-6 hours, but I'm pretty sure it's only an hour after you refridgerate's been a while since I had a baby baby though!

  • My card with my Medela pump says previously refrigerated is good at room temperature for 2 hours, but it is not clear if that is from the time it comes out of the fridge or starting from the time it comes to room temp. The second would be significantly longer the 2 hours total.
