among the 1.4 million active duty U.S. military service members, mental disorders were the leading cause of
hospitalization for men and the second leading cause for women (second only to pregnancy-related
admissions). Six to ten percent of U.S. military personnel were documented to receive outpatient treatment
for a mental disorder each year (1,2). Over 25% of service members who received outpatient care for mental
health problems left military service within six months, a rate that is more than two times higher than the rate
of attrition following treatment for any other ICD-9 illness category (1).

You know when someone yells out, "Allah Akbar"; "God is Great", "Thank You Jesus", whatever!!! then I very well have the right to even speculate~ t
If the man had yelled God is great in ENGLISH before shooting up the place and his last name was SMITH there would be no mention of his religion and everyone knows that whether they are willing to admit it or not.
There is no excuse for what he did, and there is also no excuse for bigotry.

It's not like you hear this:
"Catholic Man goes on shooting rampage at local McDonalds" or
"Luthern Girl gets in a fight with Methodist Girl at local playground"
Every class, every race, every religion, every human being on this earth has issues.

I thought he was about to be deployed again? I also thought that he was a little fed up being given a difficult time because he happened to be Muslim. We may never know as we aren't in his "shoes" or "head"....don't know what he was thinking or where his life has taken him.
