stomach, butt, and thighs?

What did you do to loose weight and get in better shape in these areas?

  • For the stomach: situps and crunches and suicide crunches (like a regular crunch, just when you're up with your upper body you straighten out your legs without them touching the floor).
    For hips and butt: running or walking, and "peeing dog" (on your knees, lift your leg sideways like a peeing dog)
    For the legs: calve raises: stand up, change between standing on your toes to standing on your whole foot (sounds easy but they do actually really hurt after a while)

  • Just remember, doing exercises in those specific places will build those muscles, but will NOT lose the fat from those areas. You CANNOT spot reduce fat. Your body will lose weight in the order it wants to. Building up muscles then doing aerobic exercise is the best way to lose the fat all over, though. Muscle takes a lot of calories to maintain.

  • Everything Beichan said and DIET. Eating right is going to give you the fastest results. Look into the Abs diet and/or the Eat Clean diet, they are not fad diets but more guide lines for healthy eating. They will help you lose weight and, if you lift, build muscle, which like Beichan said, will help you burn more calories.

    Exatly.... you CANNOT spot reduce!!!!! And if anyone is tellinig you that you can they are a quack!!But, if you are doing and over all weight loss/exercise program you can tone those specific areas for sure.
