Wish me luck guys!

I'm tryin to get rid of this last 15 pounds of baby fat. Starting a diet today. I'm having a slim-fast for breakfast, lean cuisine for lunch and a light supper. For in between snacks I have almonds, yogurt or fruit. I'm also cutting out soda and drinking water. Wish me luck! Has anyone lost a significant amount of weight? Any tricks you can share with me?

  • I've lost about 35 pounds this year. i did really well until about August and kind of slacked off. While i haven't gained any back, I haven't lost a significant amount since then.

    All i did was be very careful about what I eat. I can't even say that i increased my exercise much either .

  • That sounds really good, especially the water drinking! ;-) Good luck! I found also that walking about a half hour at a fairly fast pace helped me. It burns calories and your metabolism perks up.

  • I am 5' 7" and weigh 130 and last year I was 170. I never stopped eating and I didn't do diet food.

    Each day I would eat lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains only, steel cut oats, soy milk, cottage cheese, string cheese, all natural yogurt, eggs, almonds, peanuts. I would never do fast food or drink soda. Good luck, girl!

  • Cutting soda should get you half way there. Hubs cut out soda and lost about 10 pounds just for that. Good luck!
