What kind?

I want a dog but I am allergic to most types of dogs saliva and fur if I touch my eyes after touching them. Is there any types of dogs that may cause less allergic reactions?

  • If you're allergic to the saliva then I would think having a dog isn't a good choice. Most like to lick, and it can be hard to avoid.

  • poodle breeds are good for the hair allergy, but the saliva, not too sure on that one.

  • My dd is allergic to dogs. I had two friends who said their dogs were "hypoallergenic" but that's just BS. All dogs have hair, saliva, dander, and ick. This was confirmed by the allergy doctor. You'd be best to keep to the stuffed animal type of dogs. Sorry.
