What week in pregnancy did you find out the sex of your baby?

I am high risk so I go to the ob/gyn weekly for ultrasounds this week I am 18 weeks I was going to ask the doctor if he could tell me the sex today, But with dd i found out at 20 weeks? How far along do you have to be?

  • i found out at 18 weeks usually around that time the baby is not too big nor not to small but i heard high risk pregnnacys sometimes u find out sooner so good luck!

  • the sex is completely formed and identifiable at 16 weeks, my appt to find out is next week and ill be 18!!! YAY

  • I found out at 16 weeks. I went in for a US as I had cramps all night and they wanted to check and see if everything was o.k, and the tech told me it was a girl. At 20 week, I had another scheduled US for checking the anatomy and tech again confirmed it was a girl.

  • 18-20 weeks is what they usually check for the gender. I was 19-20 weeks for both of my kids.
