Spotting while breastfeeding? TMI

I have never spotted before while nursing my kiddos. My baby is 7 months old and still nurses just as much as he always has. I have spotted what seems to me often. The first time was Oct. 16th. Then Nov 1st and now today. It usually lasts 1 or 2 days. In Oct I actually had bright blood but it went right to spotting the next day. Sorry TMI. I just figured that I was starting my period. Although I never started with the other two until I was done nursing. So what do you think it could be? Just because I am nursing?

  • As we age, our hormones change along with each baby so while you didn't spot before, you spot now.
