At our house, was supposed to be at the park but it was pouring down rain. Just family and close friends. It was a football theme.

At our house, smiley face-happy theme, family, friends, presents (way too many, but fun!) and 2 cakes. One little block for him and one for the rest.

TIP: No brightly colored frosting on the baby cake! The last 1st b-day party I attended created blue and red poops for all attendees under age 5. Bad stuff.

For his party we had everyone, family friends and an under the sea theme. Cake and games and plenty of food, sun and fun!!!
On his actual birthday we had a nice little family dinner. He loves ground meat (most kids do I assume) so I made him meat loaf with a red pepper sauce (family fav) and corn on the cob. He had a full set of teeth and had been showing interest in eating our cobs. It was too cute!

Small party with just us. Did cupcakes and a couple of balloons and gifts.

Sang Happy Birthday when we gave them their special cupcake and that was that.
