Need some prep/freeze/serve recipes

PLEASE!!! I am currently working 65-70 hours a week and have no time to make food once I get home. DH is not happy about cooking so if I could find some easy recipes, I could prep them all on Sunday(at least a couple) so all he has to do is throw them in the oven.

  • I would stick to things like chili, soups, lasagne and frozen turkey or hamburgers.
Green split pea is easy, the directions are on the plastic bag then add some chicken broth, cumin, onions, carrots, salt and pepper.

  • If you have a crockpot then you have a huge headstart: roast beef, roast chicken, pork roast, soups & stews, chili, chicken or beef in gravy, mexican chicken (chicken pieces, black beans, corn, Rotel tomatoes), BBQ chicken and most casseroles.

Here's a tip that works with most crockpots: make up your casserole, chili, stew, marinated meat, etc in a 4 or 5 qt plastic ice cream pail, then freeze it. When frozen you can pop it right out and store in a gallon freezer bag until needed. Then just pop it in the crock pot, add about 1/4 c. water, cover and cook on low all day.
