Another Red Flag missed?

Picture Below
Notice the SoA on the card? Soldiers of Allah
Now, the SWT? When writing the name of God (Allah), Muslims often follow it with the abbreviation "SWT." These letters stand for the Arabic words "Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala," or "Glory to Him, the Exalted." Muslims use these or similar words to glorify God when mentioning His name.

  • if radical muslims use those initials to mean soldier of Allah.;.. still it wouldn't mean anything.. as they may believe that they fight for Allah (whether correct or incorrect) just like American soldiers or others fight for thier country.

WHAT? Don't constru the soldiers fighting for this country as the radical muslims fight for allah. Thats absurd, and a bad example, I find it offensive. This country does not teach its soldiers to seek out anyone who believes a different religion and strap a bomb under their clothes go into a crowded environment and blow themselves up. HOW ridiculous to compare the two.

  • Um, this is kind of odd. The fact that he is a muslim is not a red flag.

  • It isn't the fact he is Muslim. It is the fact that he uses the initials of the radical Muslims. It has been reported that classmates in grad. school told superior officers of concern over some of his comments. This climate of PC kept them from acting on it.

  • sorry but SWT is not RADICAL and niether is SOA...

They are just what the poster said they are...
now why he used them.. i can imagine that because in our daily lives whatever we do we mention Allah's name in it.. everything we have is because of Allah.. God grants us our breath, our jobs, our food.
i don't really find it strange.. I wouldn't connect it to anything other than what it is.

but i can see why others would find it strange.

  • oh.. and it's probably not soldier of Allah..but Servant or slave of Allah.. because that is what Allah calls us in his book. We are servants /slaves of Allah. We (mankind) was made to worship the Creator.

I am a servant of Allah..

as Christians are Servants of Jesus

  • Are the reports I have heard about this accurate? This is something that has been associate with the more radical of the Muslim faith. The faith say it; the radicals put if forth as some sort of recognition factor. Is this true?
