About how much did it cost for you to neuter your male dog?

  • Our vet went by how much the dog weighs. You will have to call them and they can give you an idea.

  • If you go to a low cost spay clinic in most places it is between 45 to 55 to get them done. But at a normal vet it depends on the size of the dog and what precedure is being done. If it is a routine neuter it is cheaper but if the dog has an undecended testicle there is more to the neuter so it will cot more. I would call your vet and ask for an estimate.

  • you may want to check local humane societiesit cost us about $80 for a full grown female lab and spays as well as larger dogs generally cost more.

  • My 70lb boxer/pit cost $65 at a non-profit spay & neuter clinic. I paid an extra $15 for a microchip.

  • My male Sheltie cost $70 to neuter (that included an overnight stay) when he was 6 mos old. It was just a routine neuter at our vet's office.

  • My weiner dog cost $35 at the local low-cost clinic. Interestingly enough....spay and neutering as many animals as possible is their mission....the clinic name is Planned Pethood. : )

  • I don't know because that was 15 years ago but the SPCA here in Florida will do it for $15-30 depending on the size of the dog.
